Kaufaux Cliffs - Tom Tom

Our original plan was to do Kaupo cliff - tom tom trail today but we ended up taking a wrong turn and made our way up the very dangerous Kaufaux route(climb). It was very difficult and very very dangerous! There was no rope to use just a bunch of sketchy loose rocks and vegetation. Grabbing the wrong rock or even a simple slip and your free falling to your death.. no joke! .. i dont recommend this route unless your ready for a serious climb... We were the second group to go up this route. Pete Clines and August Smith were the first to do it.
