This was a 12 hours mission... We started at 530am and we ended at 530pm.. A total of 12 hours.. The KST to makapuu is very easy and very straight forward just follow the ridge. Ive never been this tired hiking in my whole life. We were on a tight schedule trying to make it all the way from Manoa to Makapuu before sundown. Hiking for 12 hours is not ideal but we love the challenge! A few weeks later Duc Ong made it from konahuanui to makapuu in a day! Also thanks to him and his effort for clearing the trail.
